Sending KAS

Send Kaspa to any address instantly.

How to Send

  1. Open your Wallet

  2. Tap Send

  3. Enter where it's going (address or domain)

  4. Enter how much

  5. Review the fee

  6. Confirm with your biometrics

  7. Done—it's on its way

Addresses

You can send to:

  • A normal address: kaspa:q... (the long one)

  • A KNS domain: alice.kas (easier to remember)

Just paste or scan the QR code.

Understanding Fees

Kaspa fees change based on how busy the network is. Think of it like paying more during rush hour. The app always shows you the exact fee before you send.

⚠️ Critical: Transactions Are Permanent

Once sent, it cannot be undone. This is not like a bank transfer you can reverse.

  • If you send to the wrong address, that KAS is gone forever

  • If you copy the address wrong, same result

  • If you fat-finger the amount, you sent it all

  • The blockchain doesn't undo mistakes

There is no "undo" button. No customer service. No recovery.

This is why crypto is secure—but it also means you must be careful.

How to Avoid Mistakes

  1. Verify before sending: Copy/paste addresses from trusted sources (QR codes, KNS domains)

  2. Send small first: Do a test with 1-10 KAS to unfamiliar addresses

  3. Use KNS domains: alice.kas is much safer than copying a long address

  4. Take your time: Don't rush through the confirmation

  5. Read everything: The app shows you the address and amount—check them twice

About Fees

Fees are tiny but variable:

  • Typical fee: less than 0.01 KAS per transaction

  • Busy network: might be up to 0.05 KAS

  • The app always shows your exact fee before you send

You pay the fee no matter what. Even if the transaction fails, you lose the fee.

If You Made a Mistake

Sent to the wrong address?

  • Check if that address is yours. If not, the funds are gone

  • The blockchain is public—you can see them at that address

  • If it's an exchange or wallet you control, contact their support

  • If it's random, there's no recovery

Sent too much?

  • Too late. The transaction is permanent

Sent to someone you know?

  • Ask them to send it back (they have the choice to)

  • They're under no obligation to return it

Need Help?

  • Address spelling: Double-check by zooming in and reading character by character

  • Balance check: Make sure you have KAS + fee (app will warn you)

  • Internet: Need a connection to broadcast the transaction

  • Slow confirmation: Wait—Kaspa is usually fast but can take a few minutes
