Consolidate UTXOs
Consolidate small wallet pieces into fewer, larger ones to reduce future transaction fees.
What's a UTXO?
When you receive KAS, it arrives as a UTXO — think of it like a physical coin. Over time, you can accumulate many small ones. More UTXOs means higher fees on future sends.
Compounding merges them into fewer, bigger outputs, so your next transactions cost less.
How to Open It
Open the Menu (Settings tab)
Tap Tools
Tap Compound UTXOs
The screen shows your current UTXO count at the top.
Auto-Compound
Turn on Auto-Compound to have the app consolidate UTXOs automatically during your transactions — no manual effort needed.
Set the UTXO Threshold to control when it kicks in (default: 20). Options range from 5 to 84 UTXOs.
Manual Compound
If Auto-Compound is off and your UTXO count exceeds the threshold, a Compound Now button appears. Tap it to consolidate immediately.
The app sends your full balance to your own address, merging up to 84 UTXOs per transaction. A small network fee applies.
Safe by Design
Inscription and marketplace UTXOs (P2SH scripts) are automatically excluded — compounding never touches active listings or pending inscriptions.
When to Use It
Before a large send, to lower fees
After receiving many small payments
When you notice transaction fees are higher than expected
