Understand Privacy

We protect it. The blockchain doesn't.

What We Don't See

Kasanova is non-custodial—we don't hold your funds:

We don't know:

  • Your seed phrase

  • Your private keys

  • Your personal identity

  • Your passwords

We don't require:

  • Your name

  • Your email

  • Any ID verification

  • Any personal info

What we do see: To send you push notifications, the app shares your wallet addresses with our backend. This means we can see your transaction history at those addresses — just like anyone else can on the public blockchain. We don't store or sell this data.

What's Visible on the Blockchain

Kaspa is public. Anything on the blockchain can be seen by anyone:

  • Addresses (your kaspa:q... or alice.kas)

  • Balances (how much KAS is there)

  • Transactions (who sent what to whom)

  • Amounts (exact numbers of KAS)

This is how blockchain works—it's transparent by design.

Staying Private

If privacy matters to you:

  • Use different addresses: Kasanova uses HD wallet derivation, which means multiple receive addresses are available under your single seed phrase

  • Be careful what you share: Don't post your main address on social media

  • Use a VPN: Hide your IP address from the network

  • Don't link identity: Keep your real name separate from your wallet address

The Reality

  • Public blockchain = public transactions—this is the trade-off for decentralization

  • We can't see your transactions—but the blockchain network can

  • Privacy is possible—but requires effort and care

Our Part

  • We don't store or sell your data

  • We don't track you

  • We don't require personal info

  • We don't sell to third parties

What you do on the blockchain is your choice.
