Setting Up Your Profile

Make yourself recognizable on Kaspa.

What's a Profile?

Your profile is your on-chain identity. Once set up, it shows:

  • Your avatar (photo, gallery image, or one of your NFTs)

  • Your KNS domain (like alice.kas)

  • A bio

  • Social links: Twitter, Discord, Telegram, GitHub, website, email

How to Open Your Profile

Tap Profile in Settings → Preferences, or tap your avatar on the home screen.

First-Time Setup

If you haven't set up a profile yet, you'll see a Get Started button. Tap it to open the setup wizard, which walks you through:

  1. Choosing or registering a KNS domain

  2. Picking an avatar (take a photo, choose from your gallery, or use one of your NFTs)

  3. Adding a bio and social links (optional)

A KNS domain is required for your profile to be public and editable.

Editing Your Profile

Once your profile is set up (you have an avatar and a domain), an Edit button appears in the top-right corner of the profile screen.

Why It Matters

  • People recognize you — your domain becomes a real identity

  • Messaging is personal — friends know who they're talking to

  • Build trust — your profile proves you're real

Remember

  • Your profile is public — anyone can look it up

  • Keep info you're comfortable sharing — no pressure for real details

  • Update anytime — change your bio, avatar, or links whenever
