Accessing Advanced Settings

To Access:

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Tap Preferences

  3. Tap Advanced Settings

Wallet Management

Address Book (Coming Soon)

Save frequently-used addresses for quick access.

Features (when available):

  • Save recipient addresses with labels

  • Quick selection when sending

  • Edit and delete saved addresses

  • Import/export address book

Transaction History Export (Coming Soon)

Export your complete transaction history for record-keeping and taxes.

Formats (when available):

  • CSV (for Excel, Google Sheets)

  • PDF (for printing, archiving)

  • JSON (for developers, analysis)

What's Included:

  • Transaction ID

  • Date and time

  • Type (send/receive)

  • Amount

  • Fee

  • Address

  • Status

  • Fiat value at time of transaction

Developer Options

Debug Screen

Advanced diagnostic information for troubleshooting.

To Access:

  1. Settings > Preferences > Advanced Settings

  2. Tap Debug

Information Available:

  • Network status

  • Backend connection details

  • gRPC node connectivity

  • Service health checks

  • App version and build info

  • Device information

  • Log viewing

Use Cases:

  • Troubleshooting connection issues

  • Reporting bugs with detailed information

  • Verifying backend environment

Reset Announcements

Show dismissed announcements and welcome screens again.

To Reset:

  1. Settings > Preferences > Advanced Settings

  2. Tap Reset Announcements

  3. Welcome screen will appear on next app start

Use Cases:

  • Re-watch onboarding tutorials

  • Share welcome screens with friends

  • Testing announcement flows

Backend Environment

Switch Environments: This setting is available directly in Preferences (not Advanced Settings).

Settings > Preferences > Environment

Available Environments:

  • Production (Default) - Live backend with real data

  • Dev - Development backend for testing

  • Local - Local development server

⚠️ Warning: Only change this if you're a developer or tester. Production is the recommended environment for normal use.

Network Settings

Testnet vs Mainnet: Kasanova automatically connects to the appropriate Kaspa network based on your environment setting.

  • Production environment → Mainnet

  • Dev/Local environment → Testnet (or configurable)

No manual network switching is needed.

Custom Node Configuration (Future)

  • Connect to custom Kaspa gRPC nodes

  • Configure trusted node list

  • Node performance monitoring

  • Automatic failover

Best Practices

For Normal Users:

  • Leave environment on Production

  • Don't change advanced settings unless needed

  • Contact support if unsure about a setting

For Developers:

  • Use Dev or Local for testing

  • Check Debug screen for diagnostic info

  • Report issues with debug information
