Balance FAQs

Why is My Balance Zero?

Possible reasons:

  1. New wallet - Haven't received funds yet

  2. Wrong network - On testnet instead of mainnet

  3. Not synced - Pull to refresh

  4. Wrong wallet - Imported different seed phrase

Check:

  • Verify you're on correct network

  • Confirm you have the right wallet

  • Pull to refresh

  • Check address on block explorer

Why Did My Balance Decrease?

Common reasons:

  1. Sent transaction - You sent KAS to someone

  2. Fee deducted - Network fee for transaction

  3. Token purchase - Bought KRC20 token on marketplace

  4. Price dropped - Fiat value decreased (but KAS amount same)

Check Activity feed:

  • Review recent transactions

  • Verify all transactions are yours

  • Contact support if unauthorized transaction

Balance Shows But Can't Send

Possible causes:

  1. Insufficient for fee - Balance lower than amount + fee

  2. Minimum output - Trying to send less than network minimum

  3. UTXO locked - Pending transaction using same UTXOs

  4. Dust - Balance too small to spend efficiently

Solution:

  • Try sending slightly less

  • Wait for pending transaction to complete

  • Combine small UTXOs

Balance Different from Block Explorer

Reasons:

  1. Recent transaction - Kasanova updated, explorer lagging

  2. Multiple addresses - Explorer showing one address, wallet showing all

  3. Pending transaction - Kasanova shows available, explorer shows total

To verify:

  • Check all your addresses on explorer

  • Wait a moment for sync

  • Pull to refresh in Kasanova
