Tips for Buying

Research First

Before buying:

  • ✅ Review token details

  • ✅ Check deployer address

  • ✅ See trading volume

  • ✅ Read community sentiment

  • ✅ Start with small amount

Compare Listings

Don't buy first listing you see:

  • Multiple sellers may offer better prices

  • Check amount available

  • Must buy entire listing (no partial buys)

  • Look at seller reputation (coming soon)

Timing Your Purchase

Consider:

  • Price trends (rising or falling?)

  • Volume (active trading or dead?)

  • Your budget (can you afford to lose it?)

  • Market conditions (bull or bear?)

Remember:

  • Crypto is volatile

  • Prices can crash suddenly

  • Only invest what you can afford to lose

Security

Safe buying practices:

  • ✅ Verify token ticker carefully (avoid impersonators)

  • ✅ Check you have enough KAS for purchase + fees

  • ✅ Use secure internet connection

  • ✅ Double-check amounts before confirming

Red flags:

  • ❌ Pressure to buy immediately

  • ❌ Unrealistic promises

  • ❌ Suspicious token names

  • ❌ Too-good-to-be-true prices

Troubleshooting

Purchase Failed

Common reasons:

  1. Insufficient balance - Need KAS for purchase + fees

  2. Listing already sold - Someone bought before you

  3. Network error - Connection issue during transaction

  4. Seller canceled - Listing removed before completion

Solution:

  • Check error message

  • Verify balance

  • Try different listing

  • Retry if network issue

Tokens Not Appearing

If purchase succeeded but tokens not showing:

  1. Wait 30-60 seconds for confirmation

  2. Pull to refresh

  3. Check Activity feed for transaction

  4. Verify transaction on block explorer

  5. Contact support with TxID if persists

Wrong Amount Received

If amount doesn't match:

  1. Check transaction details carefully

  2. Account for any fees

  3. Compare with listing details

  4. Verify transaction ID matches

  5. Report discrepancy with screenshots
